Musical Gift Recitals (MGRs) provide an opportunity for students to serve local retirement communities with their musical gifts and talents. High School students receive one hour of community service for participating. MGR Participation Checklist

- Saturday, October 24th, 2026, at 2:00 pm: Jefferson House, Kirkland.
- Saturday, December 12th, 2026 at 2:00 pm: Jefferson House, Kirkland
- Sunday, December 13th, 2026 at 2:00 pm: University House, Issaquah
- Sunday, January 17th, 2027 at 2:00 pm: Bellewood Senior Living, Issaquah
- Sunday, April 25th, 2027 at 2:00 pm: Morning Star of Kirkland, Kirkland
MGR Performance Guidelines
- Students of member teachers perform at assisted living communities across the Eastside.
- There are 4 dates of MGR that have been confirmed. The signup sheet will be sent out a month ahead of time and sign-ups must be completed 2 weeks in advance.
- Students will not be entered in the recital program without complete information (composer, title, playing time). Maximum 4 students per teacher. Teachers who have submitted 5 or more students to in-person MGR’s over the past 6 months may be asked to assist at one of the recitals. Thank you!

MGR Coordinators organize the recital program, print In-person MGR certificate for each student, and emcee the recital.
