Often unrecognized women have created music throughout history. The Women Composers Festival celebrates women composers across time. Although largely known in the present, historically there are many women composers whose works deserve performance. As part of Women’s History Month this year we explore women composers in music performance, games and stories.

Students of all ages and levels are welcome to participate through sharing music in performance, listening to performances, participating in games or researching and sharing information on a woman composer.
This event will be held in person if possible or in an online forum as our situation may dictate.
