The Young Composer Recital is an exciting event that encourages musical creativity and provides students the opportunity to share their original works with fellow students and their teachers. All participants will receive a published LWMTA Young Composers Recital book, which includes their original works. At the recital, the students will introduce their piece and can say something about it if they want to!

Students may submit compositions in any format (Finale score, hand drawn, staff paper, letter names instead of notes, graphic score with shapes). Students may also submit drawings to go with their compositions if they want to!
