Old Business
Financial Report (Laurie Ketron)
Given in-meeting, report sent over email. We voted to raise our dues for next year bo $35, and
our check for MAP rental spaces was just written.

Announcements and New Business
Musical Passport (Makiko Meyer)
We had 53 students, 8 teachers participating.

Musical Gift Recitals (Cherry Li)
Cherry is not here, but she’s asked Stephanie to announce two in-person MGRs coming up.
December 10th at Bellwood, January 28th at the University House in Issaquah.

Young Composers Recital (Mary Kaye Owen, Kaitlin Mitchell)
Deadline is January 12th for dues and submissions, and the recital will be Sunday January 28th
at 5pm at Northwest pianos.

Online MGRs (Selina Chu)
December 30th for Winter virtual MGR deadline.

Music Artistry Program (Selina Chu)
Deadline is January 10th. Fee $12 per student. Will help pay for rental and goes to Selina to go
to the treasury directly. Visiting artist is Margie Webster. Venues include four places: Bonnie
Debu’s studio, Stephanie Lee’s studio, the Point in Redmond, and Puget Sound school in
Issaquah. President’s day, lines up with mid-winter break for Bellevue.

Book Donations (Stephanie Lee)
Stephanie brought a number of books donated by Nancy Drake’s family that we just received
from the Eastside chapter.

Potential Rental Spaces List (Stephanie Lee)
Eastside chapter keeps a roster of performance spaces that they pass around to their members.
The problem is we need to brainstorm names – send your suggestions!   Pied Piper, Northwest pianos, Stage 7 is renting a bit, Crossroads Community Center, Puget Sound Piano school has
limited rental space, Family of Grace Lutheran Church in Auburn, Madison House in Kirkland.
Stephanie will email people and get other ideas.

December Potluck (Stephanie Lee)
The December Meeting will be our Potluck at Satomi Pellerin’s home on Tuesday December
19th – Stephanie will send out an email closer to then to get RSVPs.

“Cultivating Your Ideal Studio Culture with Group Classes” – Jensina Oliver, NCTM
