LWMTA member Dr. Shiang-Yin Lee will perform a cello solo in concert with the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra.

​The orchestra brings the music of Russia to Bellevue in April as we present Russkaya Dusha! (The Russian Soul). The concert features some of the most engaging Russian symphonic works including Glinka’s Kamarinskaya, Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia and Polovtsian March from the opera Prince Igor, Liadov’s Eight Russian Folksongs, Kalinnikov’s Chanson triste, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnole. Also on the program, our own principal cellist Shiang-Yin Lee takes center stage for a performance of Glazunov’s Chant du ménestrel.
